What we read, where it lives, how long it stays. Last updated September 30, 2026.
Who we are
Sold and Synced is run by Joseph Lundgren, sole proprietor, McKinney, Texas. For any marketplace data, we act as your service provider: we process it only to run the sync you asked for.
What we collect
- Your account: the email you sign up with, your store's web address, and the plugin licence.
- Marketplace access tokens: issued by Etsy or eBay when you click Connect. Stored encrypted on our servers. Never placed inside the plugin files on your site.
- Listings: listing IDs, SKUs, quantities and listing state (active, sold out, ended) for the shops you connect.
- Sales: order or receipt IDs, the line items on them (SKU and quantity) and the time of sale.
- Service logs: what the sync did and when, so we can show you and fix problems.
We do not request or store buyer names, addresses, emails or payment details. We never ask Etsy for the buyer email field. If a marketplace response includes buyer details we didn't ask for, we drop them and keep only the SKU, quantity and IDs.
Where it lives
On Cloudflare's infrastructure (Workers and D1), in the United States. Cloudflare is our only subprocessor. We don't sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train any model.
How long
- Listing data is refreshed on every sync and never shown more than 6 hours stale; other marketplace data no more than 24 hours stale.
- Sale events and sync logs: 90 days, then deleted.
- Access tokens: until you disconnect that marketplace, then deleted immediately.
- Your account: until you delete it. Everything tied to it is gone within 30 days.
Your controls
- Disconnect a marketplace any time from the plugin, or revoke our access from Etsy or eBay. Either one ends the sync and deletes the token.
- Email us to see, export or delete everything we hold for your store.
- If eBay notifies us that an eBay user has closed their account, we delete that user's data from our systems on receipt.
If something goes wrong
If we learn that marketplace data we hold has been exposed, we'll tell you, and the marketplace, within 24 hours of finding out.
Cookies
This website sets none. The plugin's admin pages use your own WordPress session, nothing of ours.
Changes
We'll email you before any change that affects how your data is handled.
